This past December marked the 10th anniversary of eSOZO serving as the trusted IT partner of Thibaut, an accomplished and well-known wall covering, fabric, and upholstery design firm that has been in business since 1886. With locations in Newark, NJ and London, England, Thibaut’s market extends worldwide, providing a huge range of high-quality wallpaper, fabric, and furniture to customers across the globe.

We were fortunate enough to sit down with Faris Faris, the Director of Information Technology at Thibaut, and hear his thoughts on this milestone. Faris has had more than 20 years of experience working in Information Technology and leading IT departments and organizations and devotes as much time as he can to continuing to educate himself on different aspects of technology.

As a design company, Thibaut handles a high volume of graphics, large files, and email attachments, which makes having an infrastructure that can keep up critical to their operations. Faris and Thibaut’s COO are in the process of spearheading the implementation of a major ERP project designed by INFOR. The plan is to retire their legacy system, allowing the Thibaut team to provide an even better level of support to their much-valued customers.

eSOZO has been working with Faris and his team to upgrade and manage key components of Thibaut’s infrastructure, continuously improving the performance and security of their systems. We’ve engineered a robust virtualized server environment and expandable SAN to handle their day-to-day demands, and support their new ERP system while helping with future growth.

When asked what his experience working with the eSOZO team has been like over the years, Faris highlighted our fast response time, and the consistent ability of our experienced technicians to get the job done. eSOZO’s help desk has been a great source of support for Thibaut, and every member of the eSOZO team has been involved with handling issues and offering multiple solutions for any request. We’ve always made a point of completing projects on time and within budget.

We pride ourselves on being a thorough, hands-on service provider from top to bottom, and are thrilled that Faris believes we’ve succeeded in carrying through on that approach.
